American Pale Ale (APA) | 6.00% ABV
I’m not going to write much of a review, because I really can’t give an appropriate one without drinking it out of a glass. However, this beer was very enjoyable, even straight out of the bottle.

What really appauled me was the fact that Olive Garden sold nothing but AB products. Shame on you!
Red Brick - Pale Ale

Brewed by:
Red Brick Brewing Company
Georgia, United States
Style | ABV
American Pale Ale (APA) ? | ABV 5.6%
This must be a new beer from the Red Brick Brewing company. I haven’t even heard of the brewery until today and I couldn’t find any information on this particular beer. From what I can tell, this beer is a normal american pale ale. Heavy in the malt flavoring and mild with hops. Goldenin color and crystal clear. There also appears to be some particulates floating in the beer. I am suggesting that this is yeast. I wonder if they put the bottles through another fermentation to produce the carbonation. Beer also has a good bit of lacing and the head never completely goes away. Overall, this beer is ok. It’s not great, but it is drinkable and I would prefer this over some of the stuff that is available in Starkville. However, this beer does have to compete with Sierra Nevada and TommyKnocker, which this beer doesn’t come close in my opinion. I would recommend that other people try this beer so they have another APA to reference.
I am also going to start giving these beers a letter grades. Why the heck not?

TommyKnocker - Jack Whacker Wheat Ale

Brewed by:
Tommyknocker Brewery
Colorado, United States
Style | ABV
American Pale Wheat Ale | 5.40% ABV
This beer is ok. I won’t go into a lot of detail on it because I wasn’t really inspired by it. It poured golden color and has the typical wheat beer haze. The beer is very thin in body and so is the taste. Nothing really stands out in the beer. Carbonation is on the high side. This is an ok beer, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Then again, I’m also not a huge fan of wheat beers.

TommyKnocker - Glacier Pale Lager

Tommyknocker Brewery

American Pale Lager | 4.50% ABV
Anyone that knows me, knows how I feel about American Pale Lagers... I usually HATE them. They are usually a sad excuse of a beer because many of the big guys (Miller, AB, etc) have ruined them with their adjunct filled garbage. Usually the beers reek of corn and rice. I’m also not a fan of lagers in general.
HOWEVER, this beer does not reflect the typical american pale lagers that most people would associate with the style. This beer pours the typical APL color, light gold. The beer is very clean and crisp with a moderate amount of carbonation. The one thing that really sets this one apart for me is the hop profile. TommyKnocker has to use the same hope additions for this beer as they do their Pick Axe Pale Ale. Right of the bat you get a very nice clean beer with a hint of citrus and a piny flavor. I prefer Pick Axe, but this beer is a nice alternative if I can’t find Pick Axe. This would also be a great session beer or a beer to share with friends.
