This beer was ok. It was a little on the smoky side and had a good bit of the darker chocolate malts. The carbonation added a spicy note and the mouth feel was a little on the watery side. The beer was dark in color and it produced a nice thick tan head. This beer was ok, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it.

English Pale Ale | 6.20% ABV
This beer is one of my favorite pale ales and I just now realized I have not written a review for it. This beer pours the pale ale typical deep gold color. A half inch head that quickly disapates, but there is a good bit of lacing along the sides. The best part of the beer is the upfront in your face citrusy flavor. LIke all of my favorite pale ales, this one is well balanced between the hops and malt flavors. I do not buy that the beer I am drinking is a 6.2% ABV because MS has a 5.9% ABV law. This is a good session beer and will be a staple in my soon-to-be beer fridge. I am utterly shocked to be able to get beer of this quality in MS.

This beer ours a deep golden color with a one inch head. Head retention is very good and there is A LOT of lacing on the glass. The beer of smells pleasant hops with a slight malt background. Dogfish claims it has a strong citrusy taste, but to me this is a little on the milder side of the hop citrus flavors. This beer is very well balanced and would be perfect with any bar type foods. I wish I had more on hand to try it with something spicy. 60 min also is a heavier on the body side than I am use to for pale ales. This beer is most excellent, but ranks about third on my list, right under Tommyknocker’s pale ale and two below my pale ales.
This is a great beer and I have to give Sam at Dogfish head some props for creating such a great beer.

Witbier | 5.40% ABV
Beer poured a golden orange color with a half-inch head that quickly dissipated to nothing. The beer reeks of coriander and it the taste matches. There is very little malt or wheat notes to be found. There is also little or no hop presence. The beer is thin with a moderate amount of carbonation. Carbonation is also quick to come out of solution.
This is one of the very FEW beers that is tolerable from Coors.

Belgian Strong Dark Ale | 8.00% ABV
This beer poured very thick with a very small head. A deep brown/red color. The mouthfeel is on the heavyside. This beer tastes of darker malts, fruits and is very light on the hops. This beer is good, but the alcohol content makes the body of the beer on the heavy side to have more than one. The body of this beer reminds me of the body of a dopple bock.
