Rinkuškiu Alaus Darykla - Werewolf (Green Label)

Style | ABV
Euro Pale Lager |  5.20% ABV

This beer was ok. I wasn’t particularly crazy about it. As a lager, this is one of the better ones, but then again, I have never been a huge fan of lagers in general. I am really shocked this is in Mississppi and that only 7 people have given it a review on beeradvocate.com. Since when does Mississippi have a beer that hasn’t been tried buy a huge selection of others in states with less restrictive laws? Who knew?

Redhook - ESB

Style | ABV
Extra Special / Strong Bitter (ESB) |  5.77% ABV

This beer is good and is bitter. This could be paired with spicier foods or the general pub fair. Good average beer, I would recommend this to friends.

Tommyknocker - Nut Brown Ale

Style | ABV
American Brown Ale |  4.50% ABV

For a nut brown ale, this beer is very good. I would recommend anyone to try this beer. It is very dark in color, on the sweet side, and has a very pleasant maple syrup flavor. A great beer, but I feel it would be hard to pair with something to eat. I will be keeping this on hand. Tommyknocker is also new to the MS area, but like most breweries, most of their beer isn’t legal here....

GET IT TOGETHER MISSISSIPPI!

New Belgum - Flat Tire Amber Ale

I had this at a restaurant in Phoenix called 11:30. The beer was on tap. Had nice thick creamy head that hung around a while. There was good lacing on the glass. Crystal clear with a deep golden color. Taste was very clean and reminded my of Lazy Magnolia’s golden summer or their southern pecan. This beer had a very nutty flavor that reminded me of the souther pecan, but not as intense, but enough to remind me of souther pecan. This was a great beer and I wish we could get it locally.
