I have never been one to keep up with a personal website, at least not for very long. I usually sit down for a weekend, design a website that looks great. After about a week after the website is finished I get too busy and forget all about it. This time, I am going to try and keep that from happening.  

I guess I should start off with a little bit about my self. I was born in Chicago, but I have lived all of over the country: Illinois, Florida, Texas, California, and most recently Mississippi. I am a graduate student at Mississippi State University studying physics. My research is being done at the Institute for Clean Energy Technology in the field of radiation detection and measurements. I am married and have two lovely Boston Terriers.

For fun, I do a variety of things. Studying Physics keeps me pretty busy, so I don’t have much time to spend on my hobbies. When I do have time, I like to do photography, play video games, drink micro-brewed beer, spend time working on my VW, amateur astronomy and spending time with friends and family.  I try to mix and match my hobbies as much as I can. Photography is the favorite of my hobbies. I love getting in the car, heading to some place I’ve never been and taking photos.

The biggest goal I have for my site is keeping up with a blog. I need a place to write and get my thoughts out. I figured now here would be the perfect place to do this. I also plan to use this site to share my photography and some other aspects of my life.
